The AXA Rosenberg Equity Alpha Trust ("the Trust") is organised as an open-ended Unit Trust and is authorised by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority ("the Financial Regulator ") as an Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities pursuant to EEC Directives 85/611 and 88/220.
With effect 31st December 2005, the Trust is compliant with the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2003 (SI No. 211 of 2003) (as amended) by the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 (SI No. 212 of 2003)(the "UCITS III Regulations").
The authorisation of the Trust by the Financial Regulator is not an endorsement or guarantee and does not constitute a warranty by the Financial Regulator as to the performance of the Trust. The Financial Regulator shall not be liable for the default of the Trust and is not responsible for the contents of this website.
US Person restriction
Specifically, the Trust is not available for distribution to or investment by US investors. The Trust or any of its sub-funds will not be registered under the US Securities Act of 1933, as amended ("the Securities Act") and, except in a transaction which does not violate the Securities Act or any other applicable US securities laws (including without limitation any applicable law of any of the States of the USA) may not be directly or indirectly offered or sold in the USA or any of its territories or possessions or areas subject to its jurisdiction or to the benefit of a US person.
Local registrations for sale
It should be noted that the AXA Rosenberg Equity Alpha Trust is presently approved for sale to the public in:
- Asia - Hong Kong and Taiwan
- Europe - Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK
- South America - Chile and Peru
The AXA Rosenberg Equity Alpha Trust is recognised in the UK under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The Enhanced Index Funds, the Emerging Markets Funds, the Global Ex-UK fund, the All-Country Asia Pacific Ex-Japan Fund and the All-Country World Equity Alpha Fund are not authorised by the SFC in Hong Kong and are not available to Hong Kong Residents. The authorisation from the SFC does not imply official approval or recommendation. Furthermore, non-AXA Rosenberg products as mentioned in this website are not authorized by SFC in Hong Kong and therefore not available to Hong Kong Residents.
Certain sub-funds of the AXA Rosenberg Equity Alpha Trust are available in Singapore as restricted recognised schemes only to relevant persons as prescribed by the Securities and Futures Act.
Finally, it should be noted that the retail class E of the Equity Alpha Trust is presently approved for sale to the public in France, Spain and Italy only. The Class R is only available in the UK.
